Advising EWK on the sale of 100% of the shares in Velmet Technologies OY

EWK, founded in 1868 in Kaiserslautern, Germany, is a provider of turnkey solutions in the field of noise gas cleaning with innovative electrostatic precipitators (ESP) for end markets such as the wood-based materials, mineral wool and glass industries. The company has a track record of more than 150 years and operates worldwide.

With the acquisition of EWK, Velmet has taken over one of Europe’s leading suppliers for the manufacture and supply of exhaust air purification systems and after-installation services.

Peter Ohlenschläger, Managing Director of EWK, sees the cooperation with Valmet as an opportunity to expand its comprehensive technology offering to a global customer base and thus tap additional market potential.

Advisors from Kloepfel Corporate Finance were exclusively engaged for the structured process and provided comprehensive advice to EWK’s shareholders.
