Kloepfel Corporate Finance has acted as sole financial adviser to the shareholders of baramundi software AG (baramundi) on the sale of 100% of the share capital to the German based WITTENSTEIN SE (WITTENSTEIN), recognized as an innovation leader in the field of mechatronic drive technology.

baramundi was founded in 2000 and has been widely recognized as a specialist for unified endpoint management with a strong presence in the German speaking countries. baramundi’s solutions optimize IT management processes by automating routine tasks and providing an extensive overview of the status of all endpoints e.g. PC-Clients, server, mobile devices, Macs and virtual environments. The company achieved growth rate of over 20% in the last years and currently employs more than 140 employees at its headquarters in Augsburg, Germany. More than 2,000 worldwide customers of all industries and sizes benefit from baramundi’s solutions. With the acquisition of baramundi, the mechatronics group WITTENSTEIN has acquired strategically important competencies for the further expansion of digital transformation within the Group.
