Kloepfel Corporate Finance GmbH (KCF) has acted as exclusive financial adviser to IT-Informatik GmbH (IT-Informatik) on the acquisition of Mercoline GmbH (Mercoline), a certified SAP Partner with solutions in the areas of supply chain management, business integration and business intelligence from Pelikan Group GmbH (Pelikan).
As an expert for medium-sized companies, IT-Informatik offers individual solutions ranging from SAP integration, specifically developed applications and technical infrastructure to tailor-made retail solutions. With the acquisition of Mercoline, IT Informatik can further strengthen its presence both technically and geographically. The range of services offered by both IT service providers perfectly complements each other and offers great potential – at the IT-Informatik premises in Ulm, Hamburg and Barcelona and at Mercoline’s location in Berlin. The expertise ranges from own SAP solutions in the areas of transport logistics and foreign trade as well as the maintenance tool OPRA to consulting services and services in the SAP and non-SAP environment, including EDI, as well as e-business solutions in the form of delivery portals, online stores or apps.
The disposal of Mercoline is in line with the corporate strategy of Pelikan which focuses on the global expansion of the writing instruments and stationery brand business.
