Munich, March 2017 – Kloepfel Corporate Finance GmbH is the exclusive M & A Consultant for the divesting shareholders of baramundi software AG (baramundi). As part of the cooperation, 100% of the shares of the mechatronics group WITTENSTEIN SE (WITTENSTEIN), based in Igersheim in Baden-Württemberg, were acquired.

Founded in 2000, baramundi has become one of the leading solution providers in the Field of unified endpoint management. The Company developes software solutions that enable efficient, secure and cross-platform management of PC clients, servers, mobile devices, Macs and virtual environments. In recent years, the company has been able to increase its sales by more than 20 percent. There are currently more than 140 employees working at the headquarter in Augsburg. Baramundi has already served more than 2,000 customers of all industries and sizes worldwide with its long-standing software expertise.

WITTENSTEIN is a mechatronics group that secures strategically important competencies for the further expansion of the digital transformation through the acquisition of baramundi. Furthermore, the joint competencies of production and IT can generate long-term strategic advantages and the opportunity to develope new business Areas in the field of Internet of Things and Industry 4.0.
